Yo Dawg, I heard you like Type X tails, so we're going to Type X your Type X's.

Mr DRD gave me a set of X's to open up and inspect. During this time we found out they were cracked in spots. So he went out and bought BNIB Type X's! Holy crap I hope I don't fuck em up.

Amazingly, these things have almost he exact size specs as FC S5 tails, so I could essentially retrofit my FC stuff into them, but then I was like, Nope. Going to upgrade this design.

I currently use a cross over cable to get Running/Brake power between the two circles. I'm ditching this style and will be making a transistor switched system. This will make each circle independent of each other and will make it a bit more universal. I also opted to go with Opto-isolators on the triggers so no car voltages will mingle with the led power. Less chance of screw up installing them.

The difference  is the separation. Before, if the voltage regulator failed, you lost all running or brake lights for a tail. Now you'll lose the brakes and running for only one circle. So you'll still have a fully functional circle in that event.

Still need to design the Turn signal portion.

I also bought some nice OSRAM SMD led's that may become my new main brake lights. the Lumiled SUperfluxes are a pain to work with due to their through hole design, size, cost per led, and rarity. Lumiled's are $400+ for 1200 of them and they are getting harder to find at a reasonable price. The OSRAM's put out half the light but you can put double the amount of led's in the same place along with them being much cheaper(cheaper price for you..)

DRD is a soldier from the AC 5th brigade, a special brigade in charge of ambushing the enemy from behind. AC stands for ass crack.

If I would of find out my tails were cracked I would have rolled in fetal and cried for a while. Can't ducking wait to see finished product!

^I go with paying jobs first. Otherwise I design the other ones when I have free time.

I also just got an Ultrasonic cutter which opens up my range. I can now open up the Ebay Clear tails, which gives me a new platform for Brand new LED converted tail lights. So I've held off on making ones for stock S13 Coupe tails, because I was going to get dimensions on the New Ebay clears instead. They're a bit more open inside which lends to better designs.

If some one wants to get a set of Ebay Clear Coupe tails done and have cash for a deposit. I'll get on them as soon as a finish these guys.

here's some G35 Sedan corner lights I opened up for my car.

Getting Closer. PCB's came in the mail and populated two boards for testing. Everything works so far.

Forgot to update. Finally gave them back to DRD. Had to fab up some connectors because the 180 tails don't use the standard bulbs like the US cars do. His are plug n play now.

$550 for AZ240 peeps

$600 normal price

Love it!!  Watching the sequential turns from your Facebook post was sweeeeet!  I need to save monies and have you do up my Civic.  Tired of the bulb always blowing when it rains.
