Will post projects and customer items as I make them.

 

My current tail light set

S5 Version 2 & it's PCB that I designed and had created. All components soldered on by me.

Currently working on full controllable and addressable RGB LED's. This is a FRS headliner that will have 48 of them in it. They're all wired up and waitin for the power system. I have a duaghter board created that controls the led's with an Arduino Mini.

Controller board I created for testing. Already foudn out that the 5amp vreg I tried to use is crap. Have a simple 7amp solution in place for testing now.

The FRS Headliner led's all working now. Small pcb traces plus large gauge wire makes it a pain to trouble shoot. Tiny ass clearances resulted in half illumination. A few resolders later it's all working.

Next step is the start testing the input wires.

Final plan is to have a push button on one input to send it into this play mode and a few other programmed designs.

 

Then use one input connected to dome light system. This will be basic fade on/fade off lighting in what ever color Chad wants.

Depending on use, I may include a third input on a rotary knob which I'll use to "scroll" through the colors.

 

I will have TWO more outputs available so I may leave the third input open to another push button. The reason why is Chad is thinking of going with under car lighting and I can control them from this unit as well.

Pretty much done the head liner. Just need to install it and wait for a revised pcb to come in the mail.

Talked with supine the other day, he mentioned you were doing some AE86 tails for him sometime in the future. I am very interested in seeing a set done! Really liking your work good sir. That headliner is way baller btw.

Yeah, I'm doing a full custom design for his tails. Same led's as the headliner so I can program in what I want.

I've finished the base design for his tails and am in the process of getting quotes on pcb production.

I'm about to start working on R32 tails as well.

Built a Reflow Oven to make my soldering of small components easier. Still waiting on quotes for R32 Skyline , AE86, and FC tail pcb's from a new company. Hoping they'll be able to save some cash per square inch and make my stuff more affordable.

Built base component for testing of my PWM Running and Brake signal circuit.
This will be the base for the R32 tails. The led's will be adjustable brightness for running lights, then Full brightness for braking.

This specific module will probably be for sale as a DIY system where you can make any led's do this.
