im 6'4" 230lbs. lookin for similar sized people and how they fit in their fixed seats and what they got. i can just barely fit in the sparco sprint and was lookin for a little more room. anyone got any suggestions on what they run and the pros and cons?
this has probably been discussed before, so if you know of any threads just post them up.

I'm 6' 240lb with 30" legs... I'm all body... and rock a Miata with a Sparco Sprint. Even in the 240sx I have to cut out all of the foam to fit with a helmet. In my Miata, normally I have to drive with teh top down and I see in teh top 2" of the windshield. In my sprint, I detached all of the rings that hold the seat bottom on and I sit where a normal person would fit. Of course, I'm on the floor.

Remove your stock seat, remove the rings that hold the seat cover on. Cut out most of the padding on the flat part your ass sits on, but leave the sides for bolstering. Spray it with a flexible glue and reassemble. grab a magazine and install the seat. now put it where you can reach the pedals and your head doesnt hit... sit in the seat and read for a while until teh glue sets.

Does this work ?

I am a pretty stocky guy, I have had corbeau/sparco/recaro, by far the best I have fit in was the memory fab s68. It does not press on your lats or your ribs like most. Thats just my .02.

That zilvia thread doesnt have shit for tall skinny guys. Do they even make reclining or fixed racing seats that fit 6'5" 185lb people?

Forrest has two status seats in the s14 super tight not fat boy friendly.... and momos in the s13 also not every fat boy friendly...... But you can mount any seat low and far back.

Bride Zeta III Type L, Sparco Corsa, Sparco Evo, Sparco Pro2k. Those are just a few that I've sat in and liked.

You're about the same weight as me but you're taller. The bride goes the lowest and sits more "gangster" than sparco seats. So it fits really well in a 240 chassis. Or get the SPL seat Drew has, it's the best bucket seat for a DD.

i think the best way to find a seat is to go to an event and ask people to sit in theirs. im probably gonna feel like a douche asking people to sit in their cars lol. so if you see a tall white guy at firebird on the 20th askin to sit in peoples cars its me.
